It wasn't the worst place i have been but it had its major set backs. No fire wood for sale for the campsites and the power situation was bleek. Power constantly kicked out and I had to go reset it in some shed. Definitely need to upgrade the power.
Awesome weekend at Barrier Lake, even with the rain. We will be back. And the Sunday smorg was on point!

Such a nice lake lots of sites and cabins. Nice marina and beach. Nice sand
Very small beach. But dog friendly (which I always appreciate). Seems to be more focused on boaters. Those of us who didn't jave a boat had very limited options for locsl recreation.
